China’s Photovoltaic Exports Increased by 43.9% Year-On-Year

China's Photovoltaic Industry achieved steady growth in 2021, with the output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, cells and modules reaching 505,000 tons, 227 GW, 198 GW, and 182 GW respectively. The output value of these four links has broken through 750 billion RMB.

Market applications continue to expand. In 2021, China's newly installed photovoltaic power generation capacity was 54.88GW, of which distributed photovoltaics increased by 29.28GW, accounting for more than 50% for the first time in history; photovoltaic power generation was 325.9 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 25.1%. 

In terms of exports, China's photovoltaic product exports exceeded 28.4 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 43.9%.
