Newly Installed Photovoltaic Capacity Expected to Increase Significantly

In 2021, due to the tight supply of photovoltaic equipment related materials and rising costs, domestic photovoltaic demand was suppressed, and the newly installed capacity was lower than expected. Under the influence of the release of auxiliary material production capacity and the decrease of cost, the newly installed photovoltaic capacity is expected to increase significantly next. It is predicted that in 2022, the total installed capacity of photovoltaics in China domestically will reach about 70GW~90GW, of which distributed projects such as households, industry and commerce will contribute more than half of the total installed capacity.

From 2022 to 2030, the global photovoltaic installed capacity is expected to continue to be strong. 

From the perspective of the United States, the US Department of Energy said that from 2022 to 2025, the newly installed capacity in the United States will reach more than 30GW. 

From the perspective of Europe, the newly installed photovoltaic capacity in Europe will reach 30GW in 2022. Among them, Germany plans to promote large-scale photovoltaic installed capacity. By 2030, Germany's photovoltaic installed capacity is expected to increase by about 140GW~200GW.
